Pleasant summer day, 29°C.

The SARS-CoV2 pandemic still does not give us peace, but we dared to organize the first edition of the "Ploiești, a City at War" tour, in collaboration with historian Lucian Vasile. In our tour, we had 4 participants not only in Ploiesti but also in the surrounding area, where the boys from the "Aerohistoria" Association delivered a dynamic presentation of "Operation Tidal Wave", in military uniforms of the 1940s.

Today we commemorate 78 years since Operation "Tidal Wave" - August 1, 1943, and we organized the 2nd edition of "Ploiești, a City at War" tour, again with historian Lucian Vasile. We had 6 participants, and as a novelty compared to the first edition, we visited a unique museum in Romania, the Oil Museum.
